We have designed the Guest Apartment Rozsa Street in Budapest according to the needs of gay travellers. Its perfect for 1 or 2 persons, but can also sleep up to 4 persons. The apartment is located in the center of the Pest side (all gay bars & clubs are in Pest's center, not on the Buda side). Trolley bus line 74 takes you to all gay spots or you just walk. One room apartment. Completely renovated & furnished. 42 sqm, 3rd (top) floor, bright, sunny and quiet. Backyard view. Chairs and table on the gallery. One room (25 sqm) with king size bed and sofa bed. Satellite and cable TV (own satellite dish on the roof). Full bath with tub & shower, unlimited hot water. Seperate private toilet. Gas heating with thermostat. Kitchen with fridge, stove, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, water cooker, toaster, mixer, juice maker. Intercom system at front door. Safety deposit box for your valuables (you create your own number code at arrival). Located on Pest side in Rozsa utca, close to corner Wesselehnyi utca. Easy to get to gay bars, cafes and clubs. 3 trolley bus stops to Keleti station, 4 trolley bus stops to the Jewish synagoge at the small ring street, 3 trolley bus stops to Andrassy ut. To every place in town by public transport in less than 20 minutes. Large supermarket nearby ('Kaisers'). Guarded parking area nearby. Upon arrival you get a mobile phone for use during your stay. No charge for the phone and for incoming calls. For outgoing calls you may purchase a prepaid card at check-in (order in advance required). Sat TV (Astra) with 40 English, German, French and other language channels. Cable TV. Trolley 73, 74 and 76. Towels, blankets etc. provided. You may have your guests at no extra charge. Keys for every guest. At check-in you can get info where to buy tickets for public transport, stamps and phone cards. Free printed gay map upon arrival.
Its gay owned and gay operated and at check-in we take the time to answer all your general and gay related questions about Budapest. The staff is fluent English speaking and always reachable by mobile phone for assistance.

You need to make reservations in advance. check-in only on agreement.

Airport
For transfer from the airport you can choose between the 'Airport Minibus' service and the airport taxi service 'Zona Taxi'. Both will bring you directly to the the address.
Airport Minibus: The best price for single traveller. Passengers are taken to the previously requested address by microbuses with eight to eleven seats. The rate is 2100 Forint per person (appr. EUR 8) from the airport to every address in the center of Budapest. It takes about 35 minutes, as the airport is in the outskirts. You'll find the Minibus desk after you've passed the custom. Seat reservation is not nessessary before arrival at the airport. If you already know when you'll need to go back to the airport you may purchase a Minibus return ticket for 3600 Forints.
Zona Taxi: The best price if you are 2 or more. Prices are fixed for airport taxis. Dembinszky Street is located in Zone 2 and your fare should cost not more than 3500 Forints (appr 14 Euros). You can exchange money at the airport. The fares are the maximum fares in Forints which Zona Service is allowed to charge. The journeys will also be metered, and if the meter shows a lower fare, then passengers will only pay the lower fare.

Train Stations
There are 3 different train stations in Budapest: Keleti (East), Nyugati (West) and Deli (South). See the taxi listing within our guide webpage if you like to take a cab from the station.

By car: The best would be if you get a map. Parking possible in the street or a guarded parking area nearby.
