Directions & Transfers
You need to make reservations in advance. check-in only on agreement. Airport For transfer from the airport you can choose between the 'Airport Minibus' service and the airport taxi service 'Zona Taxi'. Both will bring you directly to the the address. Airport Minibus: The best price for single traveller. Passengers are taken to the previously requested address by microbuses with eight to eleven seats. The rate is 2100 Forint per person (appr. EUR 8) from the airport to every address in the center of Budapest. It takes about 35 minutes, as the airport is in the outskirts. You'll find the Minibus desk after you've passed the custom. Seat reservation is not nessessary before arrival at the airport. If you already know when you'll need to go back to the airport you may purchase a Minibus return ticket for 3600 Forints. Zona Taxi: The best price if you are 2 or more. Prices are fixed for airport taxis. Rakoczi Street is located in Zone 2 and your fare should cost not more than 3500 Forints (appr 14 Euros). You can exchange money at the airport. The fares are the maximum fares in Forints which Zona Service is allowed to charge. The journeys will also be metered, and if the meter shows a lower fare, then passengers will only pay the lower fare. Train Stations There are 3 different train stations in Budapest: Keleti (East), Nyugati (West) and Deli (South). See the taxi listing within our guide webpage if you like to take a cab from the station. If you decide for public transports and you arrive at Nyugati station take the blue metro line until the Deak Square station. From there walk 200 meters or change at Deak square to the red Metro 2 for 1 stop to Astoria Square station. If you arrive at Keleti or Deli station take the red metro line until the Astoria Square station. Car & Parking The best would be if you get a city map.
