I was soon to discover that the pension and its host surpassed all my expectations.With all its antiques, art, charm and clienliness, not to mention a washer and dryer and cable TV. The place itself was centrally located and had a warm and friendly ambient, and near all the cultural centers, public transportation and indoor market, all my fears were laid to rest. The owner ( who I think wants to remain namelss ) was warm, gracious, kind, and very generiuos with his hospatality and concel. He provided a map to all near by bars and information concerning local customs. Further proof of this was when I discovered my filofax missing in Prague, which contained maps, phone numbers and credit cards. He found that I had left it in my room. He wasted no time in mailing it to my San Francisco address, at a considerable cost to himself - I'm sure. For this I'm more grateful than he'll know. There were many treasures I discovered in this beautiful city, I'll hold the pension high amoung them. www.homestead.com/besilio

Sent: Sunday, January 30, 2000 7:32 AM Before I discovered the great KM Saga, i had to stay in unpleasant and expensive places like Gellert, Alba, Budapest Hotel, where all they care is to take your money and get you out so they can get some else in. Forget flexibility when you are coming with a guest overnight, that is a felony in their view....But now that I found Sandor and KM Saga, my 3 times a year stay is heaven. There is nothing like it, (but maybe in Costa Rica, Hotel Colours). There are not enough words to tell you how great and friendly the place is. Thank you Sandor for all those unforgettable days i spent in your residence.

If not, I encourage you to take advantage of what might be the most helpful, gay friendly, luxurious, and affordable place in all of Budapest. My boyfriend and I stayed at KM Saga for a week in July, and we had the time of our lives. Eva and Sandor were both incredibly helpful with everything that we needed. It felt like we were coming home every night at the end of the day (or the next morning). Both Mike and I have travelled a lot, and we found KM Saga to be unsurpassed in terms of both its friendliness and its rates. So enjoy Budapest, and enjoy your stay at KM Saga!

Jeder Gegenstand ist, mag er auch manchmal noch so kitschig anmuten, ist mit Liebe ausgesucht und verleiht jedem Raum seinen eigenen Charme. Glücklich waren wir hier übernachten zu dürfen und wenn uns unser Weg wieder einmal nach Budapest führt, dann wissen wir ganz genau wie unsere erste Adresse lautet.

Very friendly staff at hand to help you with any problems you might have. The guesthouse is within walking distance from the main parts of the city as well as the baths. A must, if you are plannin to stay a few nights. In future I will use the guesthouse again.

The location was fantastic, the room ( #2) was luxurious and the host (Sandor) most informative. KM Saga is within walking distance to Gellert Baths, Central Market, Vaci Utca, Metro station and Tram lines. Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, we felt like we lived there. Staying at KM Saga was far better than we had ever anticipated. When we return to Budapest, and we will, we will most definitely return to KM Saga! We have also recommended the guesthouse to any of our friends who are planning trips to Budapest. Forget about staying in large, impersonal hotels, and book at KM Saga. You will not be disappointed. Sandor, many thanks again for your wonderful hospitality. We hope to see you again, in the very near future.
