The gay owned and operated Guest Residence by KM Saga is located in the very heart of Budapest's Pest side, close to the Danube and the Szabadság bridge, not far from the Gellert Bath and gay locations like Action Bar. Near the national museum and the famoous market hall at Vamhaz Boulevard. The most significant of this place is, that it is in a Art Nouveau building and the rooms are furnished with antiques; a 1890's environment with up-to-date comfort. The owners are always reachable and English, German, French and Russian is spoken. Near to the metro station Kalvin square; Tram 47/49, Bus 9,15; Trolley 83, Night bus 14e & 50e.

KM Saga I (Lónyay Street)
All rooms in KM Saga I are double bedrooms. Buffet breakfast is included and available daily between 8 and 11 am. Cable-TV, phone and a fridge is in every room. Free internet access if you bring your own laptop. Faxes can be send on request. 3rd floor with elevator. A washing mashine is accessable for a small extra fee. At KM Saga I a shared kitchen can be used between 9 am and 6 pm. Extra beds are available. Unlimited hot water, quality heating system. KM Saga II (Vámház Boulevard)
All rooms in KM Saga II are double bedrooms. Buffet breakfast is included and available daily between 8 and 11 am (served at KM Saga I). Cable-TV and phones in every room. Faxes can be send on request. Groundfloor with backyardview (quiet). A washing mashine is accessable for a small extra fee. KM Saga II has a fully equipped, shared kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove etc. Extra beds are available. You can have guests without extra fees, they have to show their passport. 3 nights minimum occupation. For each keyset 10 EUR deposit. 10 % long term discount (16 nights minimum). 10 % group discount (6 persons minimum). Keys for every guest. No dogs or other pets.

The 'Baroque' has 20sqm and a private bath. The room rate for 1 person is 42 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 45.36 EUR), for two persons 48 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 51.84 EUR).

The 'Suite' is the largest and best room (30 sqm) and has a private bath. The room rate for 1 person is EUR 63 plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 68.04 EUR), for two persons EUR 80.00 plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 86.40 EUR).

The 'Bust' is has 18 sqm and shares a bathroom with room 5. The room rate for 1 person is 35 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 37.80 EUR), for two persons 42 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 45.36 EUR).

The 'Mozart' has 24 sqm and a private bath. The room rate for 1 person is 42 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 45.36 EUR), for two persons 48 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 51.84 EUR).

The 'Hunter' is the smallest room (11 sqm) and shares a bathroom with room 3. The room rate for 1 person is 35 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 37.80 EUR), for two persons 42 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 45.36 EUR).

This is the biggest room at KM Saga's second location in Vamhaz Boulevard. It has 25 sqm and has a own private bath. For up to 2 persons. The rate is 55 EUR for 1 person plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 59.40 EUR) and 65 EUR for 2 persons plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 70.20 EUR). For each keyset 10 EUR deposit.

Also at KM Saga's second location in Vamhaz Boulevard. It has 20 sqm and has a own private bath. For up to 2 persons. The rate is 42 EUR for 1 person plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 45.36 EUR) and 48 EUR for 2 persons plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 51.84 EUR). For each keyset 10 EUR deposit.

Simular to room 7, at KM Saga's second location in Vamhaz Boulevard. It has also 12 sqm and has a own private bath. For up to 2 persons. The room rate for 1 person is 35 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 37.80 EUR), for two persons 45 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 48.60 EUR). For each keyset 10 EUR deposit.

You may rent the entire apartment Vamhaz Boulevard (88 sqm). It consists of 3 rooms, has 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove etc. For up to 6 persons. The rate is 100 EUR plus 8 % visitors tax (Total 108.00 EUR). 3 nights minimum occupation if you book the whole apartment. For each keyset 10 EUR deposit.

Please request a reservation. If you stay at KM Saga there is always someone who can help if you need assistance. But KM Saga does not have a reception - you need to make a reservation in advance and when you let us know your arrival details. Someone will be there for your check in. You will receive a confirmation email inluding detailed adresses, phone numbers, directions and all the info you will need.

Airport
For transfer from the airport you can choose between the 'Airport Shuttle' service, the airport taxi service 'Fo Taxi' and the railway link from Terminal 1. The Budapest airport has 3 terminals: Terminal 1 (low cost airlines, e.g. easyjet), Terminal 2A and 2B (other airlines). Both, airport shuttle and airport taxi service will bring you directly to KM Saga.

Airport Shuttle: The best price for single traveller. Passengers are taken to the previously requested address by vans with eight to eleven seats. Seat reservations are not needed before arrival at the airport. The Airport Shuttle service has desks in arrival halls at all 3 terminals (after you've passed the custom area). KM Saga Guest Residence is located in the city center. The current rate is 2990 HUF for a one way transfer for 1 person from the airport to any address in the city center. It takes appr. 35 minutes, as the airport is in the outskirts. If you already know when you'll need to go back to the airport you may purchase a return ticket for 4990 HUF. Fo Taxi: The best price if you are 2 or more. Prices are fixed for airport taxis. KM Saga is located in 'Tarif Zone 2' and your fare should cost not more than 5100 HUF. The fares are the maximum fares in Forints which Fo Taxi is allowed to charge. The journeys will also be metered, and if the meter shows a lower fare, then passengers will only pay the lower fare. Railway Link: The railway link connects Terminal 1 with the Nyugati (Westend) train station in the city center. If you arrive at Terminal 2A or 2B you could take Bus 200E to Terminal 1. The ride takes appr 30 minutes and the ticket costs 365 HUF. You may get a ticket at "Tourinform" at Terminal 1 from 8 am to 10 pm or at platform B at the railway station from the ticket vending machine. The two platforms of the railway station are connected to the Airport Terminal 1 with a pedestrian footbridge. Train Stations
There are 3 different train stations in Budapest: Keleti (East), Nyugati (West) and Deli (South). Most international trains arrive at Keleti station. See the taxi page if you like to take a cab from the station.

If you arrive at Keleti station you may take the Metro for 3 stops to Deak Ferenc Square. There you change trains and take 2 stops to Kálvin Square. From there i'ts a short walk to Lónyay utca, where KM Saga I is located. Same with KM Saga II.

If you arrive at Nyugati station you may take you may take Metro for 4 stops to Kálvin Square. From there i'ts a short walk to Lónyay utca, where KM Saga is located. Same with KM Saga II.

If you arrive at Deli station you may take the Metro for 4 stops to Deak Ferenc Square. There you change trains and take 2 stops to Kálvin Square. From there i'ts a short walk to Lónyay utca, where KM Saga is located. Same with KM Saga II.

Car & Parking
The best would be if you get a map. You'll search for Kálvin Square. From Kálvin Square turn into Vámház Körut (there is already KM Saga II !). To go to KM Saga I turn left into the Lónyay utca. KM Saga I is on the right side. There is a public parking garage in walking distance right at Kálvin Square. The fee is appr. 6 EUR per day.
