Directions & Transfers

You need to make reservations in advance. Check-in only on agreement.

Airport
For transfer from the airport you can choose between the 'Airport Shuttle' service, the airport taxi service 'Fo Taxi' and the railway link from Terminal 1. The Budapest airport has 3 terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2A and 2B. Most low cost airlines (e.g. easyjet arrive at Terminal 1). Both, airport shuttle and airport taxi service will bring you directly to the apartment.

Airport Shuttle: The best price for single traveller. Passengers are taken to the previously requested address by vans with eight to eleven seats. Seat reservations are not needed before arrival at the airport. The Airport Shuttle service has desks in arrival halls at all 3 terminals (after you've passed the custom area). The apartment is located in the city center. The current rate is 2990 HUF for a one way transfer for 1 person from the airport to any address in the city center. It takes appr. 35 minutes, as the airport is in the outskirts. If you already know when you'll need to go back to the airport you may purchase a return ticket for 4990 HUF. For further info please check http://bud.hu/english/passengers/transport_and_parking/by_minibus

Fo Taxi: The best price if you are 2 or more. Prices are fixed for airport taxis. The apartment is located in 'Tarif Zone 2' and your fare should cost not more than 5100 HUF. The fares are the maximum fares in Forints which Fo Taxi is allowed to charge. The journeys will also be metered, and if the meter shows a lower fare, then passengers will only pay the lower fare. Reservations are not needed before arrival at the airport. The taxis are waiting outside at all 3 terminals (after you've passed the custom area). For further info please check http://bud.hu/english/passengers/transport_and_parking/by_taxi

Railway Link: The railway link connects Terminal 1 with the Nyugati (Westend) train station in the city center. If you arrive at Terminal 2A or 2B you could take Bus 200E to Terminal 1. The ride takes appr 30 minutes and the ticket costs 365 HUF. You may get a ticket at 'Tourinform' at Terminal 1 from 8 am to 10 pm or at platform B at the railway station from the ticket vending machine. The two platforms of the railway station are connected to the Airport Terminal 1 with a pedestrian footbridge. A pedestrian path of 200 meters takes the passengers from the terminal to the railway station. For further info please check: http://bud.hu/english/passengers/transport_and_parking/by_train

Train Stations
There are 3 different train stations in Budapest: Keleti (East), Nyugati (West) and Deli (South). See the taxi listing within our guide webpage if you like to take a cab from the station.

Dembinszky street is not far from Keleti station: Approximatly 8 minutes walk. But if you have to carry luggage it might be unpleasant to walk to the apartment after your arrival (A cab costs max. 4 EUR). How to walk: If you arrive at Keleti station take the exit and you'll find yourself on the Baross Square. From this square turn into Nefelejcs utca. The fifth backstreet is the Dembinszky utca. When arrived at the corner Nefelejcs utca and Dembinszky utca turn right into Dembinszky utca at you'll find the building on the right side of the street. You may also ask people for help to find the bus stop for trolley bus number 78. Take this bus for just one stop from Garay utca to Istvan utca, which safes you appr. 4 minutes walking time.

If you arrive at Nyugati station you may take you may take Tram 4 or 6, get out at the stop Wesselenyhi utca. There you'll take Trolley bus 74 (the stop is at Dohany utca corner Ring street) for 3 stops. Get out at the Compaq stop, turn lefthand into Nefelecs utca and afterwards righthand into Dembinszky utca.

Car & Parking
The best would be if you get a map. Dembinszky Street is a inbound one way street. That means, you can drive from the cities park to downtown, but not the other direction. The parallel street (Doh?ny utca) goes the other direction. No problem to find a parking space on the street. Also a 24h guarded parking area is close to the apartment: In Dembinszky utca between Rottenbiller utca & Bethlen Gábor utca. The fee is 100 Forint per hour. Changes possible.
