About all Rooms & Apartments
All rates include breakfast (from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. @ the Cafe. Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. til 11 a.m. or later on agreement). You can have your own guests at day and night without extra charges. Your guest will get a breakfast too (you need to tell it the night before). Most rooms have double beds, but can be replaced with two single beds on request. Extra bed for a room 15 EUR. All rooms have a TV. Usually all rooms have radio and alarm clock and a watercooker (no guarantee). There is a safe at the reception for valuables (no extra fee). Rates are room rates, no difference if 1 or 2 persons. Check in is possible at any time between 8 a.m. (Saturdays & Sundays 9 a.m.) until midnight. If you arrive at night between midnight and 8 or 9 a.m. check in needs agreement in advance. If you arrive in the morning and the room or the apartment was taken the night before you may visit the Arco Cafe and check in at 2 p.m. Check out until 11 a.m. at day of departure. Rooms and apartments are cleaned daily between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., but only if you are not in the room at the cleaning time. Towels and bed sheets will be changed after the third night (if you are not in the room during cleaning time and you stay at least 5 nigts). If you want a daily change it's 4 EUR extra charge per day per room. Tickets for theatre, musical etc. can be ordered trough the reception. Tickets for public traffic, stamps and phonecards available at a shop across the street from the reception (open daily 8 am until 10 pm). Arco has mobile phones with Czech phone number available. The rent is 4 EUR per day. Incoming calls free. For outgoing calls you may purchase a prepaid credit. A deposit of 40 EUR is required, that you get back at departure. Incoming calls (if you do not take adavantage of the mobile phone option) possible through the phone at the Cafe between 8 a.m. and midnight. Three Internet terminals are available at Arco Cafe. Rates 1 CZK per minute, minimum 20 minutes. You may connect your own notebook to the Internet. You may sign up for a free http://www.gayemail.net/ account. GayEmail.Net also provides the possibilty to read your Pop based Email using a regular browser. Free parking on the street. A garage close to the guest house in Voronézská street is available for 22 EUR per night. Deposit for a magnetic card 40 EUR. Reservations in advance needed. Laundry close to the guest house (8 minutes walk). You may store your valuables at the reception free of charge. Pets (like cats and dogs) are allowed, but you need to tell it via email before arrival. Every year from December 20th until January 4th in the morning there is a 25% supplement. Airport transfer is 35 EUR one way and 60 EUR return, the transfer from one of the rail stations 20 EUR one way or 30 return (per car for maximum 3 persons). No credit cards, no traveller checks. Cash only, payment only in Euro or Czech Crowns. If you want to pay in Czech Crowns the change rate shown on arrival day at www.xe.com/ucc will apply (see below). You may get Czech Crowns (but no Euros) at lot of ATM's using cards like Visa or Mastercard or Cirrus/Eurocheque. There is a ATM at I.P Pavlova Metro station close to the Arco, but also at the airport & train stations. If you use cards at ATM's you get a better rate than if you change cash at exchange offices!

Appendix: In case you intend to bring animals like lyons, elephants or big crocodiles to stay with you at Arco please note that Arco requires reservations in this case at least one month in advance and that you have to send photos of them within 7 days after making the reservation. Arco reserves the right to refuse accommodation for lyons, elephants or big crocodiles at any time without further notice.
